We were so delighted to have Katie Webb out for a gorgeous editorial shoot this winter and even more thrilled when she took some time to shoot our Cabanas. Texas Hill Country is truly a special and romantic place. We are so proud of how this little village has come together and so grateful to be able to share it with our couples and their loved ones.

When Kelly from Mint Photography calls looking for a bridal portrait location... you say YES! Never surprised and continually amazed at the elegance and beauty of every photo. Congratulations Britini on your wedding this weekend and THANK YOU Kelly for sharing your gorgeous work!
We couldn't wait to share this sneak peek of our new Tidewater tent and Cabanas for overnight glamping!! We'll have more to show next week with amazing photos from Al Gawlik Photography but in the mean time enjoy this lovely film from Adam Grumbo!!
We are a sucker for some amazing drone footage but when it this gorgeous... we kind of can't even speak!!
We are so excited to announce the addition of a gorgeous Tidewater Sail Cloth Tent to our many amenities here at Garden Grove.
This luxurious high peaked tent is perfect for romantic receptions, elegant dinners and even a "Plan B" for inclement weather (but let’s be honest -- a "Plan B" never looked so good!!). To better serve our clients, our tent can be configured from a 59’ x 39’ foot print for more intimate events of 50 to 150 guests to as large as 59’ x 69’ for 350 or more guests! This sculpted white sail cloth tent glows at night and is simply a stunning work of art. It will allow your guests to experience our gorgeous gardens and Texas Hill Country views in luxury!
We can't wait to share photos of some tented weddings and events we have coming up this fall! We have other great additions in the works, too!! So if you haven't found your venue yet, make sure to come by for a tour and see all the gorgeous happenings at Garden Grove!!
There just aren't enough words to say how much we adored this couple!! Their vendors were great and photos AMAZING!! Here is a bit about the couple and their love story from the couple.
We met after Alex had just moved back to West Texas, and we were celebrating our mutual friend's birthday. After recovering from a less than elegant introduction on Mitchell’s part, we connected by being two Aggies, stranded out in the desert, with a love for A&M, dogs, and Shiner beer. Despite being with a big group, we found ourselves locked in conversation for a while; after which, we left very curious about the other. The next week, Mitchell called and asked her out like a true gentleman. Over the next couple of weeks we went on several dates, every chance we got to see one another, despite both our hectic travel plans.
Our story is simple, and straightforward - just two people who fell in love and didn't want to do life without each other. Our relationship has been so much more than just a whirlwind romance, but has become a deep-rooted friendship full of Jesus, deep belly laughs, countless roadtrips, copious amounts of food, being red wine and coffee snobs, and loving on our dogs as much as possible. Mitchell picked a ring in February 2016, and somehow managed to keep it a secret for 6 months. He proposed that July, in the most “Mitchell” way possible – well thought out, and romantic. He invited both our families, and several close friends to witness and celebrate at our favorite Italian restaurant, Venezia, in Midland.
The first time Alex had the realization that she was head-over-heels, in love with Mitchell was in Texas hill country, making it a special location for our wedding. Alex had always dreamed of getting married outside, under a wooden cross, with flowers in her hair since she was a kid. There was a desire for our venue to reflect our relationship – romantic, yet comfortable. We were drawn to the simple, elegant, beauty of Garden Grove. . Besides something picture-picture perfect, we wanted a space where our extensive guest list could come together, eat, drink, play games, catch up, engage in meaningful conversation, and still feel intimate and inclusive to every guest.
We were so fortunate to host a gorgeous Styled Shoot and Photographer Workshop with Jessica Frey Photography, last month. And WOW these images and the vendors we met are beyond talented! Thank You so much to them for their incredible work on this incredible #AustinWeddingInspo!
